Netanya Bombing Direct Result of Gaza Pullout
December 06, 2005
Rabbi Gerlitzky, Chairman of the Rabbinical Congress for Peace (RCP), stated that Monday's bombing at a Netanya mall was a direct result of Israel pulling out of the Gaza Strip. He claims that every inch of land given to the Palestinians is an inch of land that will be used in aggression against the nation of Israel. "We must take back Gaza now!" he emphatically proclaims.
The RCP is an organization that is made up of 330 Jewish Rabbis. The group is in agreement that the Palestinians are using the Gaza as a staging ground to wage war on the Nation of Israel. They claim that Israel violated rabbinical law by giving away the Gaza, and that Israel has no choice but to take it back immediately. The Palestinians will only continue to bring in militant terrorists through the Rafah border crossing and the most recent attacks on Israel are clear evidence that the Palestinians are not interested in peace. "Every inch of land given to the enemy will only bring stronger terror to the people of Israel," states Rabbi Gerlitzky.
During the past week, the Palestinians have lodged rockets into refugee camps, and detonated a bomb at the entrance of a Netanya mall. According to the RCP these attacks are only the beginning of the aggression, and Israel must act quickly and decisively in order to stem the incoming tide. Rabbi Gerlitzky concluded by saying that true peace will only come by Israel standing strong for peace and not giving away even a single inch of land.
